Henrietta Mantel-McMann, Hetty to her friends, 54, born in Dunnvilie, Ontario, Canada on July 8, 1957, passed away on February 20, 2012 in San Jose, CA. The daughter of John and Marion Mantel of Modesto, CA. She attended Ripon Christian grammar, junior high, and high schools, between 1964 thru 1975. She married James McMann of Modesto in 1982 and subsequently moved to the San Francisco Bay area. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from De Anza College in Cupertino, CA., with an AA degree. She was an engineering intern at NASA in 1991-92, she then started McMann & Associates, a drafting firm. An avid genealogist, she was president of the Santa Clara County Historical and Genealogical Society from 2009 - 2012. She is survived by her husband James McMann, her father John Mantel, and her brothers Corey, Mike and Pete.
You so loved Christmas time. I thought it a befitting theme for your memorial web site. Merry Christmas my love! I'll miss the joy and laughter you shared with me during the christmas season. I know the neighborhood will miss all the lights you always put up.
A wonderful woman, a dear wife and my best friened. The world is a little colder place with out her light to warm us.
